NEW YEAR’S REALISATION…

Well hello! 

It’s 2024 so I’m thinking it’s time to blog again! 

It’s not a New Year’s resolution…..well not really. 

It’s a New Year’s  REALISATION! 

It’s me realizing I love writing, and sharing my wisdom, crazy thoughts, new ideas, new realisations! 

So please read with love and acceptance, or move on. I don’t really mind! 

2024 could be big! I’ve taken on a casual position at the local WITCHERY store and I’ve enrolled in a Personal Styling course. Well, a second personal styling course actually! 

The first one I did was predominantly for me….the second one is to pass on my love of clothes and the impact our image of ourselves has on our life to others. 

In a world of social media, the thought of doing videos of myself scares me a little. Actually a lot. So this platform you are reading now, may be the way to go. Writing, fashion, styling tips, shopping tips. What’s not to love?! Yes, I know…it’s all been done before and continues to be done, some well, some not so well. But I’ve never done it! So I’m giving it a crack. 

Give it a crack…..ok, so that doesn’t sound fancy. But I’m not fancy and I won’t pretend to be. 

I’m me. And in the lead up to my 52nd birthday, I’ve come to the REALISATION ( omg…there’s that word again!) that the only person who does an amazing job of being me, is actually me! 

Authenticity is the new navy blue. It’s suits everybody. It doesn’t hide flaws, it embraces them. It doesn’t mimic something else, it shouts to the world that I’m cool…just the way I am. 

So this blog is being revived…..a bit like crochet clothes. And crochet blankets! 

Tell me what you’d like to hear, see or have me do in this blog. It’s all about experiencing life and all it has to offer. 

Todays is brief…..I’m off to sort out my menopausal hormones. But I’ll be back! Hopefully with some extra pep in my step ( or oestrogen in my body)!
